Happy Bible quotes! Discover how to be happy and find true happiness through happy Bible quotes and video

Deep down, I’m sure we all aspire to having a ‘good’ life or a ‘happy’ life. But what is happiness? What equates to a ‘happy’ life or a ‘good’ life? Is it beauty, success and security? Is it having a strong, healthy body? Is it having good fortune? Does it depend on the number of children and grandchildren one has?

Living a happy or blessed life does not necessarily depend on what you do or have. Let me explain.

Being successful is good, but success does not equal purpose. You can reach all your goals and succeed in life and still feel something is missing inside. To truly live a blessed or fulfilled life, one has to know and fulfil their God-given purpose in life. Only in God, our creator, can we discover the true meaning and purpose for life.

Without God, life makes no sense. God created you for a purpose. The Bible says God is love. You matter to God. He wants to do you good irrespective of your circumstances, status, colour or race.

God wants to bless you and fill you with joy

We’re all in the same boat, as the saying goes; we all need God to bless us. The Bible says we have all fallen short of the mark. We are all missing the target of the best God has for us.

Creator God is a good God. He wants to enrich and bless your life. The Bible says, “He who puts his trust in the Lord shall be enriched and blessed.” (Proverbs 28:25)

“I want to know what this trusting in Jesus is,” a doctor asked his patient. “Doctor” replied the patient, “As you know I’m very ill. I trust you to make me well. Likewise, you must trust Jesus who is the Great Physician to heal your soul.” The patient went on to explain the verse from the Bible, “Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him.” (Psalm 32:2). “How would you like to have EVERY sin you committed in the past removed? God wants to bless you by removing ALL of your sins. To receive his forgiveness you need to trust him or have faith in him.” The Doctor went away from the sick bed a changed and happy man.
