Do you long for freedom from restraints, hindrances and roadblocks?  Freedom is yours according to Isaiah chapter sixty-one and Luke chapter four verse eighteen. This is a prayer of freedom taken from these Bible verses.  When you pray the Word of God you know you are praying the will of God.  Freedom is yours today.

The prayer is taken from Luke 4:18 Amp. “The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity].”

“You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favour] will shine upon your ways.” Job 22:28 Amp.

I decree that the Spirit of the Lord is upon me to remove every restraint, hindrance and roadblock.

Jesus, please forgive me for where I have allowed an open door for the enemy to harass me through jealousy, strife, pride, idolatry or unbelief. And I also ask Your forgiveness for where I have allowed an offence, disappointment, or inner vow to take root. I renounce any vow or agreement with the powers of darkness now. And I decree that Jesus’ Blood was shed to cleanse me from all my sin.

In Your Mighty Name, Jesus, I renounce and take authority over the assignments of the enemy and his lies. Give me a revelation of the truth of Your Word and help me walk in it. I decree that I am no longer blinded by the lies of the enemy.

Please take from me, Lord Jesus, my hard, wounded heart and give me a new heart, one that is tender to You. I decree that I have the comfort of the Holy Spirit, and I’m healed and set free from where I have been downtrodden, bruised, crushed and broken down by calamity.

Thank you, Jesus, that You died not only to set me free from the penalty of sin, but also from the power of sin. In Your Name, Jesus, I forbid the powers of darkness from harassing me, and I break the chains that have bound me through others’ judgements or words, or where I have allowed the desires of the flesh to rule.

I decree that all restraints, hindrances and road blocks have been removed, and my frustration, confusion and despondency have now been exchanged for a garment of praise.

Your Word, Jesus, tells me that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom, so thank You, Holy Spirit for setting me free from ____________ and for filling and empowering me to live in victory. I decree that I am set free.

In Jesus’ wonderful Name I ask it. Amen
