What to pray for? How to pray for the unsaved

How do I pray for my unsaved friends and family? This article and video will show you what to pray for to see the unsaved believe and receive God’s grace. Pray for a burden for the lost for the unsaved. Pray that you’ll be without fear. Pray for your life to be a witness Pray for boldness in sharing the good news with the unsaved. Pray for wisdom.

Prayer is actually doing business with the Ruler of the Universe.

As Virginia Whitman so beautifully explains in her book ‘Mustard’, “When you have a desire or need for something, be it commodity or a service, you make contact with a person or firm you presume could give you satisfaction. What follows is termed ‘doing business’ with them. Prayer is doing business with God, and is every bit as practical as any earthy transaction.”

Pray for a great revelation of God’s power

I pray that… you will know that God’s power is great.” (Ephesians 1:19)

A mother’s prayer answered

Greg tells his story…

“At the age of eleven I started exploring sexually and became addicted. Life soon got out of control.  I started drinking and by the time I was fifteen I was drinking on a regular basis as well as smoking marijuana and LSD.

By the time I was eighteen years old I was a fully-fledged addict. Heroin became my friend for the next fifteen years. I was in and out of jails, living a life of violence and crime, it was all just part of life. Hatred and anger seemed to be my companion.

All I wanted was my dad to hug me and tell me that he loved me, but I hadn’t seen him since he left my mum when I was seven. My mum daily read the Bible and prayed for me.

While praying one morning, the verse in Mark chapter 9 verses 23 encouraged her. It says, All things are possible for the one who believes.”  Her cry was that morning, “Lord, I believe, thank you for saving Greg today.”  This was obviously a prayer prompted by the Holy Spirit because at that very moment I was reaching for the phone to order more drugs when I saw clearly how I had wronged God, others and myself.  As I knelt on the floor weeping; got right with God and turned away from my drugs completely.

It was a miracle – thanks to my mum’s prayers and a God who loved me enough to rescue me!”
